Roisín Geraghty hosts IDFA Industry Event on Livelihood in the Documentary Industry

Representing the UK Documentary Film Council, of which she is the interim board chairperson, Roisín Geraghty recently hosted an event at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam, one of the most important non-fiction festival and industry platforms internationally.

The conference explored livelihood in the documentary industry, which can be precarious and unstable. The event highlighted this issues from the perspectives of directors and producers, and acted as a platform for knowledge-sharing amongst participating and observing filmmakers.
